Born and raised in Manhattan by Greek immigrant parents,  Elena Evangelo is a Phi Kappa Phi,  Master’s graduate from USC’s  School of Cinematic Arts and has her B.A. with honors form Vassar College.  She was also a recipient of the Jeffery Jones Screenwriting Scholarship and the Ray Stark/Ted Turner Award and continued her education in Paris, studying French Theater at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts.

Elena’s work as an actor includes This Is Us, NCIS: Hawai'i, NCIS: Los Angeles, Netflix's The Dirt, Shameless, The Last Ship, Castle, Justified, Revenge, House, GI Joe, Parenthood…  She has also shot over 100 commercials and print campaigns. 

Currently, Elena is in pre-production for Dust and directing & producing  Eyesome,  a film centering around body dysmorphia.  She is also in post for the documentary  L.A. Muse, which explores modern-day muses and their role in the Los Angeles art scene.
